BROWSER STORAGE

Cookie and Local Storage Policy

This page explains the browser technologies used for site function, session continuity, essential operational measurement, and saved privacy preferences.

How browser technologies are used

The page uses localStorage and sessionStorage for continuity, essential operational reporting, community-link behavior, and a saved privacy preference. It may also make network requests to infrastructure, font, measurement, and third-party communication providers. These browser items are not securities accounts, bank accounts, investment accounts, or login credentials.

Browser Storage and Privacy Settings

ItemPurposeTypical duration
Visitor continuityMaintains a stable browser identifier for essential operational measurement and duplicate-event control.Until browser data is cleared
Session continuityMaintains continuity during the current browser session.Current browser session
Optional measurement preferenceStores an accepted or rejected preference for any separately identified optional measurement.Until cleared or changed
Community-link continuityReduces unintended repeated opening of an external community invitation.Up to 6 hours
Technical implementation details
  • ITI_VISITOR_ID in localStorage.
  • ITI_SESSION_ID in sessionStorage.
  • ITI_MEASUREMENT_CHOICE in localStorage.
  • ITI_COMMUNICATION_LINK_LOCK_* in localStorage and sessionStorage.

Cookies and network requests

The page does not rely on a first-party advertising cookie. Network providers may still process standard request information, and a provider may set or receive its own cookies under its terms when a request is made. The operational measurement request is sent to a dedicated endpoint and may include standard request headers together with the event fields described in the Privacy Policy.

Essential operational measurement

Essential operational events support page reliability, traffic attribution, duplicate-event control, and aggregate interaction reporting. Events include page open, community-link interaction, and invalid-link redirection. They continue regardless of the optional measurement preference because the preference controls only a separately identified optional service.

Optional measurement

If a distinct optional measurement service is introduced, it must be clearly identified before it begins and must read the saved accepted or rejected preference. The current preference controls do not claim to stop essential operational events that the page continues to send.

External requests

  • The website delivery and security provider may process standard network information used for page delivery, traffic protection, and approximate country logic.
  • Google Fonts may receive standard network information when the Source Sans 3 stylesheet or font files are requested.
  • The dedicated operational measurement endpoint receives event and device information described in the Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp receives information under its own terms only after a visitor actively opens the community invitation.

Your controls

Use Privacy Choices to enable, disable, or clear the saved optional measurement preference. Browser settings can clear site data, block storage, or limit third-party requests. Blocking storage or requests may reduce continuity or prevent some features from working as intended.
